PSA ‼️

     REFLECTION 

The message I was trying to convey to the audience is these modified foods such as hotdogs are the worst thing you can possibly consume. They are made in factories and are mixed with hundreds of ingredients and we eat it like its candy. I dont agree with hotdogs and thats why I made this video. Canva was the website that I used and it was very beneficial. I was able to reference a template and this saved me lots of time. Joy Bauer’s website talks about how unhealthy the processed meat is and how it can cause colon cancer. I came across a blog named Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, it talks about how hotdogs can cause colorectal cancer, cardiovascular disease, and early death.The genre of my PSA opened me up into the life of a factory worker and the process to making a hotdog. It is much more abstract then the final product we get and thats why I felt I had to share the message. I think I did a pretty good job at convincing my audience that hotdogs are not healthy, that doesn’t necessarily mean they stop eating them though. At least now they know before they bite into another hotdog that these are the risks.

    I love how you used canva to your advantage. the form of media is kind of like a mix between a slide show and video and it was really interesting. The transitions, song, and bright colors kept me interested throughout the video. The best part would have to be the subject though, it's interesting to see how a common food item like a hotdog can be so harmful to your body. I'll try and not eat them from now on. - Abdullahi

    I think it was really cool that you used another platform that others haven't used and it was still a PSA. Your comedic take on a PSA was really cool buy also with the intention of making your message known aslso came through as well. Great job!- Jaleel

    I loved how you use canvas. I like the quality of your video with the photos, colors, and song. I didn't really like hotdogs before, now I especially don't like it. -Kayla

    I really like the template you used on Canva, your psa was visually appealing and informative. I used to think people were joking about how bad hotdogs are for you, however after viewing yours I sure will stay away from them.
